Each year, the Carrier President’s Award spotlights businesses that have shown exemplary service and expertise in the HVAC industry. Receiving the Carrier President’s Award

The President’s Award comes from Carrier, a global provider of cooling, heating, and air quality systems. Carrier’s founder, Willis Carrier, invented the modern-day air conditioner in 1902. Over the last century Carrier has been continuing to improve their product offerings—focusing on creating energy efficient, quiet, and, most importantly, reliable cooling and heating units for your home.

The exacting standards Carrier follows when designing and manufacturing air conditioning units are indicative of the standards expected from partners who sell and install Carrier products in customers’ homes. Carbon Valley Heating & Air is a Factory Authorized Dealer for Carrier, supporting Firestone, CO and surrounding areas, and must meet the following requirements, among others:

• Participate in factory training on equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
• Maintain all required local licenses with insurance and liability coverage
• Employ NATE-certified technicians who must pass a nationally recognized exam supporting by the HVAC industry
