I was having issues with my electronic thermostat. I called Carbon Valley Heating and Air. Within 2 hours Jed was at the door. This had been an ongoing issue as the current thermostat was 7 years old and could not be electronically updated due to its design.
Jed had tried numerous ways to fix the issue so that I did not have to buy a new electronic thermostat.(This was over the course of two weeks, hoping that the electronic fix would work. Unfortunately it didn't.) I commend him for at least trying to fix the issue before needing to replace the thermostat.
At this point the thermostat needed replacement. After the thermostat was replaced, Jed stayed here until he was certain that the thermostat was working correctly, which was over an hour. As I write this, which is the next day, the new thermostat is still working correctly and the issue is fix. Yes, I had to buy a new thermostat but Jed did everything he could to not have to do that.

Joshua was here for most of the afternoon. I scheduled a service check of furnace and A/C. He took great pictures to show me how dirty the inside parts were, so I scheduled it all to be cleaned. Everything was clear and straightforward.

We’ve used Carbon Valley for a number of years and have been well pleased. The Tech we currently have, Jed, is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I recommend them highly.

Very pleased with my experience. Mr. Joshua Robertson was very patient with my questions, concerns and my hovering presence while he examined our HVAC system. We had to call for assistance because we experienced a leak in an upstairs bathroom that unfortunately caused water to get into our ductwork and ultimately making its way into the hvac system. He thoroughly examined our system and took internal pictures. He was able to determine from his inspection that our unit was fine. Very pleasant and professional.

My experience was absolutely fantastic regarding my furnace inspection today. Jed explained everything thoroughly. This was such a breath of fresh air compared to the nightmare hard sell experience I had a month ago with Mighty Heating and Air. I consider Carbon Valley my new go-to furnace and air service providers!!!!! They are HONEST!!!! Jed was absolutely thorough!!!!

On time, thorough, good communication on issues

Easy and effective install, covered everything we'd talked about ahead of time, gave advice on how to use the system. Josh and Josh were very responsive to all my questions and were very forthcoming with useful advice. They also made friends with my dogs!

We were pleased with our technician, James Ives. Our furnace is less than a year old, so no service was needed, just the fall check. James did explain our system and answered any questions we had. He was prompt and polite. The company apparently has been sold since we purchased the furnace from Carbon Valley in Jan. 2025. So far their service seems unchanged.

The 3 technicians were great to work with. They explained what they were doing. They cleaned up the work area. You would never know they were here (except of course there is a new furnace) Also explained the need to perform some additional work. They are exceptional representatives of the company.
