The fan on my furnace wouldn’t come on Jan. 2. I talked to Cody and he actually diagnosed the problem over the phone. Because of the age of my furnace he didn’t have the right replacement part with him. He had to go to a couple of suppliers to get the right part, came back and got my furnace running. His professionalism and friendly attitude were awesome, especially since he had to work on a holiday. I ended up buying a service plan from him. I would highly recommend Carbon Valley. – Mark N.

I recently had my furnace cleaned and checked over by your staff. After a few adjustments and a better filter I noticed the furnace does not run near as often.
A couple weeks later your technician Dale installed a humidifier on the furnace to get rid of all the shocks when walking through the house. He did a great job explaining what was to be done to the system. After is was in he went over how it worked and the PM that I needed to do to make the system run properly. I also feel your prices are very reasonable. Thank you for all of your help and I will call you again when needed.

Carbon Valley techs have worked on both our A/C and heating units. Cody did a great job of our furnace inspection. He also installed a new water boiler. He was knowledgable and professional. He offered to come after hours if there was any issue with the new water boiler. This is the first time we used the Carbon valley heating and will use again.

This is our 2nd experience with Carbon Valley Heating & Air, and both times have been excellent. This time, the problem with our heating system was simply our tenant not operating the system properly. There was no big charge and no attempt to sell us unneeded repairs. For the 1st experience, a minor component had a short circuit, and it took the CVH&A about 30 sec to detect the problem. This is notable because another company previously sold us a new circulation pump that wasn’t needed and had re-configured the gas pipe in such a way as to be a Code violation. None of that nonsense with CVH&A, who had to re-do the bad work. We recommend CVH&A highly!

My furnace was blowing air without heat on 12/22. I called Carbon Valley heating and air to see if they could get me back up prior to the Christmas weekend. The initial service was great, they sent a tech same day. After he spent 5 hours at my house trying to sell me furnace cleaning services he stated that he could not get the unit blowing hot air and that it would need to be replaced. He stated that if i signed up for a new furnace that night he would work late and try to get my unit running. At that point I sent him home and investigated myself. The unit had a limit switch fault code. The tech told me that the problem was the main limit switch, but he could not get it working. That was because the problem was not the main limit switch, it was the auxiliary limit switch which had a manual reset. I reset the switch and the furnace has been working perfectly since. I do not know if this is typical with this company, but you need to watch out for them. My furnace had a very simple problem that any technician should have been able to fix. Either the tech is no good, or the company tactic is to con people into new units. Either way, I will never use this company again.

The person that came out to fix my heater problem was great and went over everything that was needed. Only issue I have is I fell over charged. It was $1100 for a new blower on our furnace. When I look up blower motors they look to be around $100-200. I did have an emergency call but this seems a bit high for what I got.

I felt very comfortable with Bryan coming into my home. He took the time to pet my puppy and his work was excellent. I was relieved to get my furnace serviced before the bitter cold weather arrived.
