When my old furnace stopped working, Carbon Valley was my first call. Dale arrived the same day (Friday), unfortunately with some bad news — the 13-year-old builder-grade furnace had a cracked and leaking heat exchanger, the inside of the furnace was caked with soot and the steel body rusting away. The inducer motor was seized and shot.
He explained everything to me and said the best thing to do was replace the old furnace. Dale gave me a quote on 4 new Carrier furnaces. Being a thrifty consumer, I called other local businesses for competitive quotes. Carbon Valley had the best price by far, had the best service contract (2 years) and let me know about rebates that were available. So naturally, I chose Carbon Valley.
Coincidentally, the same day I got a flyer in the mail from Carbon Valley for $300 off a new installation. I called Josh on Sunday and he told me of course the coupon would be honored.
Dale emailed me on Sunday to let me know Zack would arrive on Monday to install the new furnace. Monday morning, Zack was right on time, with his apprentice, Derek. They kept the noise and dust to a minimum, got the furnace installed in a few hours, showed us how to use the new thermostat, and even fixed a leaking water drain line.
Haley took care of all the rebates, the building permit and scheduling the work. We even got more back in rebates than expected!
