“Have been working with this company for around 10 years. used to be happy. They have worked on my 6 year old on demand water heater and now 6 year old air conditioner this year. The water heater cost around $900 dollars in maintenance and was just a broken relief valve, it still leaks water. And the tech recommended replacement at around $7000. Now the Inverter control board is broken on my Carrier AC unit. The quote to replace was $5795. I found that board for sale on line for $2495 and then found it at an HVAC warehouse for $1035, shipped. Of Course Carbon Valley wont install a unit purchased from someone other than themselves. So I found a company to make the repair for me. If I had followed their recommendations I would be out around $13,000 dollars in the last 8 months. What feels like greed to me ensures I will never use them or recommend them again.”

“I had a new air conditioning unit installed and Jed Gooras was called in because a pressure switch in the furnace was not working. He had to order the part and a few days later came to install it. That was great. It worked. Then came time to turn the heat on. Well…the heat wasn't working quite right (not really warm. As it turned out the part that handles the condensation was clogged up. He came back yet again and unclogged the part and stayed to make sure everything was working as it's supposed to. While he was here I learned a lot about my furnace! Poor guy! It was his third trip to the house. But I am extremely grateful and more educated!”

I’m not usually a review writer, but Gavin did an excellent job. He arrived sooner than the estimated window of time, he was quick, knowledgeable, and was a pleasure to talk to. He provided advice on small ways to help the system run efficiently, and was just generally willing to share knowledge. He is kind and courteous. Well done!!”

“This is a six-unit industrial building located 1830 Boston Avenue. Our previous contractor is no longer servicing industrial accounts, leaving us to search for a new maintenance source for our rooftop HVAC requirements in all units. CVHA was responsive, professional and efficient in completing the given tasks and we’re quite pleased. At this point it appears CVHA will be our primary source for repairs/maintenance and HVAC unit replacement in the future. Thanks for your help.”

“The main fan in my Forced air gas furnace, started to make a non-normal sound and I called Carbon Valley after receiving 2 recommendations for their service. They came promptly and diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and when it came in, they installed it. Gavin began the job and Jed finished it as Gavin was on another job when the part came in. I was concerned with a second technician finishing another's work, but it was handled perfectly, and the job was completed to my satisfaction. The price was exactly as quoted, and everything was left fixed and running to perfection. FYI my system is 18 years old, and no one tried to upsell me on anything.”

“Our AC was out and we called over the weekend. Jed was able to fit us in same day! He's helped us out before and has always been very personable and knowledgeable. Jed diagnosed the issue quickly and did a great job of explaining what needed to be done. He had our AC up and running within an hour. Carbon Valley Heating & Air is a great company, with great people!”
