“The main fan in my Forced air gas furnace, started to make a non-normal sound and I called Carbon Valley after receiving 2 recommendations for their service. They came promptly and diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and when it came in, they installed it. Gavin began the job and Jed finished it as Gavin was on another job when the part came in. I was concerned with a second technician finishing another's work, but it was handled perfectly, and the job was completed to my satisfaction. The price was exactly as quoted, and everything was left fixed and running to perfection. FYI my system is 18 years old, and no one tried to upsell me on anything.”

“Carbon Valley installed our new HVAC system four years ago. They did a great job and it has run like a champ – summer and winter. It's a CARRIER brand – two ton capacity.
My dear old mother-in-law came over to dog sit; and left the back door open for three hours. The A/C was set at 72 degrees and it was over 100 degrees outside. This precipitated a system failure – the refrigerant compressor was overworked and the motor-starting capacitor failed. JACOB, our trusty Carbon Valley HVAC Technician came to the rescue ASAP. He quickly trouble-shot the problem; replaced the capacitor; and refilled the refrigerant (which had run a little low over four years of service).
JACOB was professional, polite, and hard-working on the sunny side of our house in the late high-summer afternoon. He explained all his observations, recommendations, and actions. His obvious technical competence and humble, humorous demeanor inspired confidence. He respectfully reminded me to change the air handler filter; and rinse off the condenser coils monthly with my garden hose. This will save us money in the long run.
We will call Carbon Valley again, whenever we need heating or air conditioning service.
